Overview

Calcafy (https://calcafy.com) provides free browser-based calculators. This policy describes what information may be involved when you use the site as it is currently implemented.

Operator: NV Digital Consulting LLC. A business mailing address is maintained but is not published on this site.

Information you provide directly

Calcafy does not currently offer user accounts, registration, or on-site contact forms. If you email us at support@calcafy.com, we receive the information you choose to include in your message (such as your email address, subject line, and message content).

Calculator inputs

Published calculators run in your browser. Inputs and results are processed client-side using JavaScript and are not intentionally transmitted to Calcafy servers as part of normal calculator use.

Calcafy does not currently operate a database or backend service to store calculator inputs. Search queries on https://calcafy.com/search/ are processed in your browser against a local index and are not sent to Calcafy servers.

Calculator state exists only in your browser session memory while you use a page. Closing the tab or navigating away clears that in-memory state. Calcafy does not currently use localStorage or sessionStorage to persist calculator inputs.

Technical and hosting data

When you request a page, standard web hosting infrastructure may process technical information needed to deliver the site. This may include your IP address, browser type, requested URL, referrer, and approximate timing information.

Calcafy is intended to be hosted on Vercel. The hosting provider may maintain server and platform logs for security, reliability, and operations.Calcafy does not control the exact retention periods or internal processing practices of the hosting provider.

Cookies

Calcafy does not currently set intentional first-party cookies for analytics, advertising, or user tracking. Essential cookies or similar technologies may be introduced only if future features require them, and this policy would be updated accordingly.

Analytics

Calcafy does not currently use analytics services such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Plausible, or similar visitor-measurement tools.

Advertising and affiliate links

Calcafy does not currently display advertising, use affiliate tracking links, or embed advertising pixels.

Third-party services and external assets

Calcafyloads fonts from Google Fonts through Next.js font optimization. When fonts are served, Google or its content delivery network may process technical request information according to Google's policies.

Pages may link to external websites. Calcafy is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites you visit through those links.

Data retention

Because calculator inputs are not intentionally stored by Calcafy, there is no intentional long-term retention of calculator data on our side. Email correspondence, if any, is retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond or maintain records.

Hosting and platform logs may be retained according to the hosting provider's operational policies. Specific retention periods have not been confirmed for production deployment.

Data security

Calcafy uses HTTPS in production and relies on reputable hosting infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Calcafy is a general informational calculator site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@calcafy.com.

Your choices

You may stop using the site at any time. You may configure your browser to limit cookies or block certain resources, though some site features may not function as intended if required assets cannot load.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy as the site changes. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
